Professional Counselingand Coaching for Adults
For adults, in addition to our training programs, we change long-standing “stubborn” patterns which people can’t change on their own through insight-oriented psychotherapy. Life coaching is available as well to help people achieve life goals much more rapidly. Workshops, seminars, and group programs are also occasionally offered.
Dr. Sheldon Nix, Ph.D., M.S.W. brings 35 years of experience counseling adults and teaching graduate psychology students at Eastern University and Palmer Seminary. He also graduated from Coach University in 2001 and continues his coaching education through CoachVille.

We’ve all experienced traumas in our lives, but sometimes those hurts stick around and affect us in the present more than they should. Dr. Nix is highly experienced helping people gain freedom from the past so they can become all they want to be.

Relationships and marriages are hard, let’s face it. And sometimes we need some help to build the love we want. Out of his extensive training, clinical experience, and his own experiences with marital successes and struggles, Dr. Nix will help you figure out what is going wrong and how to get back in sync with your partner.

Sometimes we just aren’t sure what exactly is going on with us, what we want, or how to create a life we love. We just know we’re unhappy and our lives aren’t working well in key areas.
